Bow Seat Alum Spotlight | Today we’re featuring Charmaine Mupara from Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe! Charmaine first joined the Bow Seat community as a 2022 Fellowship Program grantee and now brings her energy and insight to the Future Blue Youth Council. At just 18, she’s already making a meaningful impact through environmental action, thoughtful leadership, and community-rooted solutions. Charmaine volunteers with Environmental Buddies Zimbabwe and is passionate about reforestation, access to clean water, climate justice, and food security especially in rural villages most vulnerable to climate change. Her past project addressed water and food insecurity through tree planting and harvesting pits, and her journey continues to inspire creative, youth-led action across the globe.
