As grocery prices go up, interest in local eggs — and local food, in general — has grown. Sometimes, Paul Fleischer said, that means shopping at a nearby farmers market. Other times, it means setting up a coop just steps from your kitchen.
“I feel like there’s a big movement and interest in people wanting to go back to the land and provide for themselves,” he said.
