The public is invited to celebrate the state championship baseball team Saturday morning on the Libertyville High School campus. The celebration will begin at 11:30 a.m. with player and coach introductions and remarks. LHS cheer and dance teams will be part of the festivities. Seating will be available in the first-base bleachers and in the outfield grass. Guests also may bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on in the outfield. Following the ceremony, the State Champion Wildcats will be available for photos and to autograph, posters, hats and memorabilia. The event is open to everyone. Thank you to Friends of Wildcat Baseball and the LHS baseball program for inviting us all to celebrate this incredible history-making achievement! @vipisphoto @ihsa_state @ihsa_il @go_lhs_wildcats
