NIL has come a long way since 2021, and high school athletes now have a special advantage to be able to build their brand before they get to College Athletics. Still, athletes tell me all the time “I can’t get any NIL deals, I don’t have an instagram like you” & my answer is: neither did I 🤷🏾‍♂️ I didn’t have a huge following, just like you. I didn’t have high impression rates, just like you. And I didn’t have a brand, just like you. But that’s what’s special about NIL…it’s what YOU make it.
