The right-hander’s stellar performance was capped by his becoming the franchise’s all-time strikeout leader. Tyler is a Frontier League veteran, currently in his seventh season. In four seasons with the Miners, he has 237 strikeouts in 338.1 innings. Across his entire Frontier League career with Sussex County, the Windy City ThunderBolts, and the Traverse City Beach Bums, he has fanned over 500 batters. Tyler is the second Miner to claim a weekly award in 2025, and the first Pitcher of the Week for Sussex County since Griffin Baker (June 5, 2023).
