Rwanda part 3 🇷🇼 : Gorilla Trekking 🎥 ill.angell The 5 a.m. wake-up call was rough but absolutely worth it. We caught a stunning sunrise, took in the beauty of Rwanda’s countryside, and even learned how to properly submit to a gorilla (pro tip: avoid eye contact and crouch low 😅). This was the most peaceful experience I’ve had in a long time. Being surrounded by nature in its raw, untouched form(no noise, no rush) just the quiet power of the forest and the presence of these majestic creatures. The gorillas move with such calm authority, their family bonds and expressions so human it takes your breath away. Thank you to VisitRwanda_now for making this experience possible. I’m so, so grateful. 💚 📍Volcanoes National Park is home to over a third of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and spans five volcanoes in the breathtaking Virunga range. 🧬 These incredible animals share 98.4% of our DNA and can live in family groups of up to 30, led by a silverback. 🌍 Thanks to dedica...
