Repost from poeticpatience_ • To be young, gifted, and Black 👩🏾‍🎓✨ On August 9th 2025 I graduate from Thee Prairie View A&M University. I attended 3 high schools, 3 middle schools, and 3 different elementary schools, but only one college. I committed the last 4 years of my life to my HBCU, Prairie View A&M University. It broke me out of any shell I had or box I thought I would fit myself into, I will never regret my decision. There is no lie in the statement that “it takes a village.” Between the friends, family, student organizations, and the people I met at events I participated in, I have never found that statement to be more true. From financially to spiritually, I have found and given support in every way.
