I am unwell.
Of course right after I said training has been going pretty well I got my world rocked the very next day. So anyways here’s the lowlight.

If you’re looking at this going “holy crap”. Yes, exactly that.
But sometimes you have to be stupid to be good so I dove right in.
This was bad bad news. The goal was written to try and finish the ergs in around 40 seconds and keep the barbell and gymnastics unbroken as long as possible. Believe me when I tell you it wasn’t very long… I lasted 16 minutes and melted down completely.
I stopped took a break, regrouped and restarted adding a rest minute and filling the minutes for the ergs. I got the volume done, but yikes.
Mentally this shattered me And I spent much of the rest of the day cramping.
It’s nice to get punched in the face like that now and then. Humbling.
Anyways, sometimes you’re the windshield and sometimes you’re the bug. I guess the lesson here is...
