Rowdy Ruby, known out of drag as Colt, is redefining what rural life looks like. They grow and hunt their own food, chop wood, and teach self-defence - all whilst in six inch heels. Ruby comes from a conservative Christian community and deconstructed from the religion over a decade ago. As they began exploring their sexuality and gender identity online, Ruby - who came out as pansexual in 2022 and genderfluid in 2023 - faced growing backlash from their religious community.
