Drag Race UK star Pixie Polite said she was hospitalised after a 'homophobic' incident on the evening of July 28. Pixie took to her Instagram stories to share that she had been assaulted while in Tesco. The incident 'evolved from general comments and mocking, into verbal homophonic abuse, then into violence'. The Drag Race star said there was CCTV evidence and witnesses. She later shared an Instagram post to update her followers, with the caption: "Majorly appreciate everyone’s concern and blown away by the amount of messages I have received. Feeling a little groggy today, and have taken the day off to rest and process what happened.Overall I’m pretty much fine but I am feeling the same sense of righteous indignation I felt last night."
