The Irish Museum of Modern Art has responded to backlash after they removed a film showing two men kissing after a member of the public claimed it was “harmful to my child’s health”. The film by the late Derek Jarman was displayed on an outdoor in the museum's grounds in Dublin.The complaint said: "Your outdoor screen is displaying close-up footage of topless adults kissing intimately. My five-year-old daughter walks in this space." The museum's head of programming initially responded to the complaint saying: "Imma strives to present a diverse range of artistic works while also being mindful of the broad audience that engages with our public spaces. We understand that different artworks can elicit a range of responses, and we take your feedback seriously."
