'I Know What You Did Last Summer' star Jennifer Love Hewitt has sent a moving message to her LGBTQ+ fans.
Hewitt, who starred in the original movie in 1997 as well as the reboot, spoke about her connection with LGBTQ+ audiences in a recent interview with OUT magazine: "They are the loudest and greatest fans ever. I just really appreciate it."
The actress credits the LGBTQ+ community for 'keeping Julie James alive'. She went on to say: "I would want to share, especially in this climate we're in, that you're loved. You are celebrated, not for who people want you to be, but for who you are. I am here, and I am always celebrating you the way that you celebrate me. I hope you feel my love."
I Know What You Did Last Summer is out in cinemas now.
