England's Lionesses are supporting their teammate Jess Carter after she revealed the racist abuse she's been receiving during Euro 2025. On July 20, Jess released a statement on Instagram stating she will be taking a step back from social media after an onslaught of racial abuse since the start of the tournament. Many of her teammates commented on the post showing their support.Shortly after, the Lionesses official X account released a statement showing their solidarity with Jess and all of the other Lionneses that have experienced racism: 'No one should have to endure such vile abuse'.
