Sophia Hutchins, the close friend and long-time manager of transgender I Am Cait star and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner, died after suffering “multiple blunt force injuries” in a crash earlier this month. The cause of death of Sophia Hutchins was revealed in a death certificate from the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, obtained by publication PEOPLE. Hutchins, 29, died on Wednesday 2 July after crashing her All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) into the back of a moving car, near Jenner’s home in Malibu, California. The ATV then left the road and fell 350 feet down a ravine. Hutchins was pronounced dead at the scene by medical professionals, while two passengers in the other vehicle were left uninjured. Hutchins’ death has been ruled an accident, though the case remains open.
