Margaret Qualley has announced she will be releasing songs under the name Lace Manhattan to feature on the soundtrack for her new lesbian film ‘HONEY DON’T’. The film, which is set to release on 5 September 2025, is a 2025 American detective comedy directed by Ethan Coen, who co-wrote the screenplay with Tricia Cooke. It is the second in a “lesbian B-movie trilogy” following Coen and Cooke’s Drive-Away Dolls (2024) and stars Margaret Qualley, Aubrey Plaza, and Chris Evans. In a statement to the Lace Manhattan Instagram on Tuesday 15 July, Qualley wrote: “So excited my songs for the @honeydontfilm are coming out the 24th! “Songs written by Ethan Coen and @jackantonoff.
