The art of cropping.
Lately I’ve been seeing posts on Instagram about the "art of cropping" and it has made me reflect on how much my approach to sharing my work has evolved. There was a time when my social media felt disconnected, more routine than a true reflection of my creativity. I wasn’t posting with purpose, I was just posting to post.
But that mindset has started to shift back to how it felt when I first picked up a camera.
This past season, I’ve started creating with intention again. Slowing down. Trusting my eye. Remembering that editing isn’t just about exposure or white balance, it’s also about the crop. Even in fast-paced environments, there is always room to pause and refine the details that make a difference.
