Katie Ledecky proved she is still the queen of long-distance swimming on Saturday, holding off competition from Canadian sensation Summer McIntosh and Australia’s Lani Pallister to win her seventh 800-meter freestyle world title at the World Aquatics Championships. After a thrilling race in which all three were separated by no more than a couple of strokes throughout, the American clocked in with a championship-record time of 8:05.62.
