Second time around… and I couldn’t hide the secret very long. This is what happens when your profession includes people staring at your pelvis 😂 I workout with SO many hot moms, and they could tell almost instantly that I was pregnant. Women are so witchy in this way! I know when I post this, the first thing many people, who don’t understand “geriatric”(haha) pregnancy, will ask is: “why did you keep it a secret?” Well, a couple reasons: 1. After suffering a previous pregnancy loss, I didn’t want to tell people too early and then, maybe have to painfully and publicly “untell” people. 2. At my age, 41, the possibilities of miscarriage, complications, and chromosomal abnormalities go up. I wanted to get through the initial trimester and testing before announcing. 3. I wasn’t ready to talk about it yet. The first trimester is an odd waiting period. And I wanted to share that time with my husband and close family and friends only.
