Meet the Class of 1975: Andy Contreras! 🎓 An @asuengineering alum, Andy flew A-7’s and F-16’s for the Arizona National Guard, eventually becoming Commander of the Air to Surface Unit, where he helped transition F-16’s for deployment in Iraq.✈️ While at ASU, Andy met his college sweetheart, Cathy, at the Manzanita dining hall, and this year they celebrate 50 years of marriage. 💛 Today, Andy continues to support ASU and the military, including endowing a scholarship for the ASU football program. 🏈 His journey from the engineering halls of ASU to the skies as a fighter pilot reflects a legacy of perseverance, passion and pride in both his alma mater and his country. We can’t wait to celebrate Andy at Golden Reunion this May! Learn more about Golden Reunion: alumni.asu.edu/goldenreunion
