Spent my day giving out over 600 new children’s books to kids in need in the Sacramento area. Over 1500 people signed up to attend Sacramento Mayor mayormccarty and Vice Mayor cm_talamantes’ Annual Backpack giveaway! It was incredible watching so many organizations come together to give back to the community, to children, and to families! I’m honored to be among so many kind & generous leaders! Thanks to the thecityofsac for helping organize such a wonderful event! I hope to be back next year! I will always give back to the Sacramento community. I will ALWAYS do good! Not every child in Sacramento & beyond has the opportunity to pick up a new book & read.
