Congratulations to Madelana Wrubel of @oswegostatesb on winning the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Year! Wrubel made an immediate impact on the Laker Softball program, earning All-SUNYAC honors (2nd team) as a Freshman. She batted .349 that season with 29 hits and 14 runs scored. Wrubel then earned All-Tournament team within the SUNYAC Championships that year. In her second year, Wrubel helped the Lakers to the conference semifinals with a pair of wins during the SUNYAC Championship. In her senior season, Wrubel matched her freshman year numbers with a .338 batting average on 27 hits and 18 runs scored while playing six games less following a year off from COVID.
