As previously reported, the now infamous brawl started when a pontoon boat stopped at the riverfront, preventing a riverboat from docking there. ____________________________________ White individuals who were on board the pontoon boat were seen attacking a single Black man, who was reportedly a dock worker. Multiple Black women and men came to the worker’s defense, escalating the altercation. ____________________________________ The incident led to many reactions across social media and many reenactments.
