A beautiful day to visit the birthplace of the Musical Ride’s iconic horses! Inspired by the striking image of riders in red serge uniforms mounted on black horses at King George VI’s coronation, the RCMP began its own horse breeding program in 1939. Since then, the RCMP has been dedicated to raising strong, elegant black Hanoverians. Over the years, the horse breeding program has devoted great care to its mares and stallions, and their foals, who are raised to one day become stars of the Musical Ride. #MusicalRide #RCMP
