Rachel Zegler’s performance on the balcony of the London Palladium continues to be one of the biggest live theatrical moments of the summer, drawing crowds of hundreds each day in London.
Fans flock to below the balcony at the front of the theatre where she is playing Eva Peron in Jamie Lloyd’s revitalised production of Evita, for a performance of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice-penned song “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”.
The free and unticked moment now mixed with that original song that made waves on the UK charts is something that isn’t lost on Zegler, as she told us during an exclusive gettyentertainment interview.
“This is a song that charted in the UK charts in the 70s and all of a sudden people are singing it to be on the street,” rachelzegler said.
