Chinese film ‘Dead to Rights’, which portrays the atrocities of the Nanjing Massacre, has raked in over $200m, leading China’s summer box office.⁣ ⁣ The film was based on a true story and the war crimes committed by the Japanese against the civilians of Nanjing, China in December 1937 during World War II, when at least 300,000 Chinese people were killed by the Japanese invaders.
