Inside the studios of our Joffrey West Summer Intensive, the final days are unfolding with intensity and focus. Dancers are deep in the work, pulling from everything they have explored these past three weeks to shape something raw, layered, and fully alive. This week is not just about preparation, it is about transformation. Guided by Artistic Director Josie Walsh ballet_red and Associate Artistic Director Kaili Bright hellokaili , dancers have moved across a variety genres learning to navigate the space between discipline and discovery, form and feeling. It all comes together in Woven—a culminating performance that threads together genre, intention, and voice through choreography by Renee Baldwin, Doug Baum, Myles Lavallee, Rachael Anderson, and Brian Drake.
