The wait is over... our #NationalMarineSanctuary adventures have begun! 🎣🌊 On July 20th, we launched the first of five special outings in the National Marine Sanctuary network, connecting #MilitaryFamilies to the magic of our nation’s protected marine areas! In partnership with NOAASanctuaries, MarineSanctuaryFdn, and NOAAFisheries, we welcomed active duty service members and veteran families for a day of hands-on learning, ocean exploration, and sustainable fishing in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. From interactive exhibits at the Exploration Center in Santa Cruz to reeling in rockfish on the open water, families spent the day immersed in the beauty, culture, and conservation of California’s Pacific Coast.
