Class at the Guide Dog Foundation includes a lot of hands-on practice. 🦮 From walking the back squares at our headquarters in Smithtown, NY to outings to local towns across Long Island, our Guide Dog Mobility Instructors work hard with each student to ensure that they are comfortable and confident as they head back home. Once the graduates do return home, our Graduate Support team remains in contact with them, answering any questions that arise and helping ensure a smooth transition to life together.
