April is bringing shooting stars 🌠💫 The Lyrid meteor shower is set to light up the night! Peaking on April 21–22, the Lyrids offer a celestial spectacle with up to 20 meteors per hour. NASA studies meteors from the ground, in the air, and from orbit to forecast meteor activity and protect spacecraft, as well as to understand the composition of comets and asteroids throughout the solar system.
