Head football coach Mike Norvell was asked by the media who his best wide receiver has been in fall camp, here’s what he had to say: “I think guys have shown up. I have really been pleased with what Duce (Robinson) has shown, Squirrel (White) has been really exciting, I think Boggs (Jayvan) is coming along, where he is showing some good traits. Lawayne (McCoy) had a couple of big catches yesterday. It’s an exciting group. It’s just the consistency that I want from that. There have been dominant moments.” The wide receiver position was something that was underwhelming last season. Veteran pass catcher Ja’Khi Douglas had flashes, but it wasn’t sustainable in terms of production (even though he was prepared in the biggest moments).
