Summer Research Highlight: Gaybe Moore's Research Group
This summer, students in Professor Gaybe Moore’s lab studied the immune system of Galleria mellonella. They investigated immune priming and tested how antioxidants might reduce glyphosate’s harmful effects, pushing their understanding of insect immunology through clear experiments and direct analysis.
As part of the Oberlin Summer Research Institute, the group spent ten weeks designing experiments, analyzing results, and developing as independent researchers. Watch the video to hear the students discuss their research and what they learned!
