This past week, Sailors from USS Constitution supported the Navy Office of Community Outreach (navy.outreach) during the Sacramento, California, Navy Week! Since 2005, Navy Weeks have brought America’s Navy to communities across the country, showcasing its mission and impact in cities without a major naval presence. With up to 15 Navy Weeks held each year, these events connect Sailors with local schools, hospitals, civic organizations, and more through various outreach activities. During Sacramento Navy Week, we had the privilege of visiting a children’s museum, volunteering at the local SPCA, and participating in community events.
