#DogsInYellow Day! 🟡 A day dedicated to raising awareness for anxious and reactive dogs, who sometimes just need a little more understanding.
If you see a dog wearing yellow—whether it’s a bandana, collar, or lead—it’s a sign that they need extra space. These dogs might feel uncomfortable with strangers, other dogs, or unexpected interactions. The best way to support them is to give them space, avoid sudden movements/eye contact, and never approach without asking first. By respecting their needs, we help create a more safe and understanding environment for reactive dogs and their owners.
In this special video, Aina from pawzler Meghan from swiftpaws_official and Alexis from whataboutbunny and fluentpet share how enrichment can benefit anxious or reactive dogs and their personal experiences.
Whether your dog wears yellow or not, today is about spreading awareness, educating others, and fostering a more compassionate community for reactive dogs. 🐾
