Who watched Gaga last night?! OG little monster circa 2008! I love pop stars but it’s different when they’re your age. Britney was always aspirational for me growing up. Gaga was so self-realized at a young age, an age when I was figuring myself out, she was so confident in herself and her abilities and that was inspiring to me. And I got to tell her that a few years ago! I love her because she is always on the right side of things. She cares about humanity. She cares about marginalized people. She is fun, daring and brave. She makes great music and puts on a SHOW!! And she is often ahead of her time. I learned early on to sit with her music because songs I may not favor initially will end up being my favorites. She is also so deeply FUNNY! I beg you to watch old interviews. This album is great. Top 3 for me. She seems happy now. Peaceful. You can hear it in her voice.
