East Oakland Pride Elementary is shining brighter than ever! Over 100 volunteers helped us start our transformation project in November 2024 and we returned to the school in February 2025 to finish the job. With the help of the NBA, NBACares, the Warriors, and over 300 dedicated volunteers, we made our most extensive schoolyard transformation yet during the 2025 NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service on Valentine’s Day. From revitalizing the cafeteria, library, and gym to planting over 100 trees, creating garden beds, painting murals, and installing multi-sport courts—the power of collaboration and community helped transform the school experience for 350+ Oakland students.
