🎄This holiday season, we joined our co-founders, Stephen and Ayesha, to bring JOY and celebration to Oakland through our 12th annual Christmas with the Currys. Over $2 million in resources went to Oakland students and families, creating unforgettable memories and strengthening our community. The month was all about celebrating the love of reading and the power of connection. From pop-up book fairs to special events, it was a season of giving and togetherness. We launched our initiative to refresh school libraries across OUSD, starting with Madison Park Academy’s beautifully updated library. And perhaps most meaningful of all, every OUSD elementary student—18,000 in total—received a gift box filled with new books. ✨ Beyond the books, we ensured families had the support they needed this season.
