At Eat. Learn. Play., we’re continually inspired by the creative ways our partners bring programs to life. In collaboration with blackculturalzone, our Little Town Library program has taken on a unique, hyper-local approach. Black Cultural Zone empowers volunteer library ambassadors to transform their front yards into inviting mini-libraries, creating welcoming spaces where kids can discover the joy of reading. Each library is lovingly and skillfully installed to last, helping us foster stronger, more connected communities through the power of literacy. In partnership with blackculturalzone, oaklibrary, oaklitcoalition, and ousdnews, we’re making free, culturally affirming books accessible to kids across Oakland.
