🌈 We’re thrilled to announce the completion of our Stonehurst Campus schoolyard transformation, impacting the lives of kids at Esperanza Elementary and Korematsu Discovery Academy! From kid-designed play structures to a nature exploration area with 15 new trees, two multi-sport courts, new soccer goals, a Little Town Library, vibrant murals, and more—this space is now a hub of joy, learning, and play for the Oakland community. After completing phase one of this project last year, we’ve finalized phase two, ensuring all Stonehurst Campus students have amazing spaces to play. A huge thanks to our partners kaboom, ousdnews, workday, and kaiserpermanente, as well as all the dedicated volunteers who made this possible.
