I recently released the Navigation Plan for America’s Warfighting Navy, and for #FoundationFriday, I’m emphasizing my project 33 target to “restore critical infrastructure” that generates, sustains, and postures the force for the fight. Shore readiness is essential for getting more players on the field to fight and win. This is true across the world. In any potential conflict, we will rely on a global network of installations, dry docks, and other facilities to generate and sustain ready forces, and that is the reason I prioritize Foundation as we prepare our Navy to fight and win anywhere in the world.
