🇺🇸 Shooting around with Steph Curry back in 2018 was and still is the coolest professional experience of my life. It came about after I talked about a strategical approach I noticed Larry Bird took to the 3-Point contest, of which Steph adopted and went on to win the for the first time in his career in 2015. As someone who tried my hand at the shootout over the years, getting to work out privately with him was surreal. Then it got even crazier because just after he gave me some pointers, I got on a hot streak, and he was cheering me on like the millions of fans who cheer him on during every game and want to see something special. I’ll never know what playing basketball on his level is like. Or to exist in his world of global fame, where so much of his life is recorded, analyzed, and scrutinized whether he wants it to be or not. But as a dad, and a husband, this was like talking to any other father at one of your kids birthday parties, where you can relate to each others’ storie...
