Man what a day! We started off with some big ones jumping off on us with big moving baits! Would have pushed our bag towards 26-27 lbs of smallmouth. We'll take what we got though, Scroll to the end to see our best 5. Fishing got tough, so we busted out the biwaa_usa 5" Scorpitail rigged with the coretackle Scamper Rig and got a couple of better bites. Then I went into the bag of tricks and we put a hammer down on them with both the 2.5" & 3.5" biwaa_usa TailGunR Curly! We rigged them on a 1/0 bkkhooks_americas DSS hook. Swimming it, dropshotting it and even a couple of bed fish couldn't resist that curly tail action and honestly saved our day. I tried to force feed the big stuff the other day and knew that today was the day we had to dish some peanuts at these brown elephants. Available ONLY from lakeprotackle!
