Understanding where to kick from in your #standingbowpose is important! Often, we’re told to kick and stretch, but we don’t receive clear instructions on how to do it. Learning to kick using your leg and specific muscle groups, including the gluteus maximus and medius, the hamstring muscles, the gastrocnemius, and the arch muscles, is essential. When you focus on engaging the proper muscles in your body, your posture will become much more effective. Instead of just following instructions, concentrate on how to do it.
