𤩠Here's a lesson on standing backbends.
š§š½šØš½āš« When I teach, I often notice that many students experience back pain and tend to collapse their spines. This typically happens because they focus on leaning back instead of arching back. It's important to understand the difference between these two movements. Continuously leaning back with a flat spine can damage your lumbar discs over time. Instead, aim to lift from the pelvic floor through the abdomen, diaphragm, chest, and throat to create an even arch throughout the entire spine.
šš½šÆ Give it a try, and let me know how it goes in the comments below! If you want to dive deeper with me, join my online livestream yoga classes sunlotuscenter. I stream daily in my online studio and would love to work with you on the mat. It's not just me talking; it's an interactive session where I focus on your technique.
