After 4 revisions of camshafts with Kelford, we are really happy with this spec for 63-74mm turbo setups. While the original A and B spec camshafts made tremendous top end, we felt like they gave up too much bottom end, and really hurt drivability on smaller turbo setups. They weren’t worth it for most street/strip cars. While the extending duration and open/close times will inevitably minimize the effects of VVT, we feel like these camshafts to an excellent job of stuffing as much power under the curve, while curing the tendency of the stock cams to really lose efficiency above 6800rpm.
