Last week we continued working on Jeff’s Thompsons street car, with his goal of it being a car that can go rounds in the DCT classes that require a minimum 17” wheel and full interiors. We made 4 passes and went 8.26-8.28 on 3 of those passes which makes this car a problem in the mid level DCT classes at most of the major events like FL2K, TX2K, Street car takeover, etc. Could we gut the car, slam it on 15” wheels and spray it? Of course, but as is it has never been to a track and not been the quickest DAZA on the property.
