PURE MAGIC in Zurich!!! 💎🏟✨🥏🏆 Coming into 2021, the Olympics was our main focus and WOW it was so special. Accomplishing a dream is SO powerful, but I honestly wasn’t quite ready for the emotional 🎢 that followed. These last 6 weeks have been tricky. I’ve felt so much pressure (mostly self-imposed) to back the Olympic🏅, but my heart and mind just weren’t in it. These feelings and struggles with motivation contributed to my two lowest marks of the 2021 season in Paris and Brussels as I began a four week competition circuit in Europe. This year so many track athletes shut down their season after Tokyo and I found myself wondering if I should have done the same. I’m SO thankful Coachzsion was able to make it over to Europe and help me find momentum again. His positivity and energy (and technical thoughts too, I guess 😝) were so instrumental in helping me turn the corner to get to a headspace to compete at my best.
