Our 11th studio album would be ‘Travelin’ At The Speed of Thought.’ It was the first album to feature vocals from Sammy Strain, who was brought in when William Powell was terminally ill. Sadly, the same month the album was released, William lost his battle against colon cancer. William was an integral part of The O’Jays. His contributions helped us reach the success we did.
