Today is World Pancreatic Cancer Day 💜🎗️I’ve got my purple on to represent all of the past, present, and future pancreatic cancer patients. Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer death globally and is the the LOWEST survival rate amongst all major cancers. I have been proud to share my mom’s story with the country this past year. Every time someone approached me to share their story of loss or their connection to pancreatic cancer, I was reminded of why this work is so important. It’s not just about raising awareness—it’s about creating hope. This last week I gave a keynote speech at an aviation conference and had countless people come tell me about those they have lost to pancreatic cancer. This year alone, I’ve heard too many stories of people losing their loved ones in under weeks to months from diagnosis. My work with you all is far from over.
