2 air shows in one week!! ✈️ I attended the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) in England & EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI 🇬🇧🇺🇸 RIAT was an amazing opportunity to meet our allies and airmen from all around the globe showcasing joint air power. Then, I got to meet the very lovely jessicaashley_ and speak about being women in STEM to empower our youth! Flew across the pond to make it to Oshkosh, which is known as the world’s largest air show & fly in convention! Spent the days meeting young women in aviation, soon-to-be airmen, and other Air Force members from around the U.S. I finally got to meet some hugely inspirational women in aviation — machkluesner & mace_curran — they are the real deal. Airshows have become some of my favorite events this year because of the communities you get to meet 😁 Someone told me, “you come the first time for the planes, but you keep coming back for the people.” That has been 100% true and I hope to keep coming back in the future.
