Connie is one of the four females in our herd and is considered geriatric for her species. In this video, Keeper Paige explains how these daily baths are more than just a chance to cool off. They’re a critical opportunity for keepers to build trust and monitor Connie's health, especially as she grows older. Baths also give our elephants the opportunity to exercise and use their muscles!
